HEALTH GUARANTEE

Pets Prestige certifies that the puppy you purchased is in sound health at the time of sale to the best of our knowledge and has been given all vaccines and deworming stated on the treatment and vaccination record provided to you. We have done our best to provide you with a healthy puppy. You are responsible for further vaccinations and boosters and also regular deworming.

We strongly recommend, but do not require, that your puppy be spayed or neutered. It is your ultimate responsibility to take good care of your puppy and provide adequate food, water, shelter, and veterinarian care. We have bred this puppy based on sound stock. Through proper diet, exercise and quality living conditions, you can play an important role in helping your puppy grow into a healthy adult.

Please be aware that as a new puppy owner you share in the responsibility to help prevent hip dysplasia, as it has been proven to be partly hereditary and increasingly environmental.

Two Weeks Health Warranty

You are responsible to have your puppy examined by a veterinarian within two weeks of the purchase date listed below. Any claims that the puppy is not healthy within the two week warranty period must be backed up by two unaffiliated veterinarians. In the event two unaffiliated veterinarians certify that the puppy has internal parasites or a contagious illness the puppy was vaccinated against, or a health issue of such serious nature that the quality of life of the dog will be shortened or seriously altered, Pets Prestige will reimburse your reasonable and customary veterinary bills related to treatment of the condition up to the purchase price of your puppy.

We cannot control the exposure your puppy encounters after the sale and do not guarantee against ticks, fleas, or ear mites. Furthermore, Pets Prestige offers no warranty against stress induced conditions. Puppies sometimes get stressed when they are adopted and move to their new home. This stress can be brought on due to the move, change in diet, too much handling, not enough quiet time, or not eating properly. Stress can bring on minor health ailments including but not limited to diarrhea, constipation, colds, and hypoglycemia. After-sale exposure and stress related conditions do not warrant reimbursement for treatment.

Pets Prestige cannot control or guarantee the color or size of the puppy now or as an adult nor can we guarantee breed characteristics.

If you have questions about what is covered, please email or call for more information with regards to that, as we will be more than willing to answer to your questions.
Within ten days of purchasing your new puppy, you must take him/her to a licensed veterinarian for an examination. If the veterinarian determines, within ten days of purchase, that your dog is clinically ill or has died from an injury sustained or illness likely to have been contracted on or before the date of sale and delivery, you have the following options:

  • Return the dog for a complete refund
  • Return the dog for a replacement dog of equal value
  • Retain the dog and receive reimbursement for reasonable veterinary fees, not exceeding the purchase price
  • These options do not apply where a seller, who has provided a health certificate issued by a veterinarian, discloses in writing at the time of sale the health problem for which the buyer later seeks to return the dog.

If within 30 days of purchase, a licensed veterinarian determines that your dog has a congenital or hereditary defect which adversely affects the animal’s health or that your dog died from a congenital or hereditary defect, you have the same option as outlined above.
You must notify us of the examining veterinarian’s name, address & phone number within two days of the vet’s certification of your dog’s illness. Failure to notify the seller within five business days will result in forfeiture of rights. Each country has different laws related to the sale of a puppy; please educate yourself on the laws in the state in which you purchase your puppy.
